Netball Results Round 9
C reserve what a game! In wet slippery conditions both sides struggled to take control of the game. With only 1 goal in the game at every quarter break the game ended in a draw. Moama found themselves 3 goals down with 2 minutes to go and fought back for a draw. A great defensive game by Libby Kennaugh. Keep it up girls. Best player was Libby Kennaugh and most determined Ashley McCreddin. Final score Moama & Congupna both on 27.

The under 11 girls all played fantastic and won a hard fought high scoring game. The spectators were provided with a high quality match. The girls bought it together as a team, well done! Ebony Lane and Tilly Keenan won the game day awards. Moama defeated congupna 23 to 19.

under 14s
Very dewy, slippery conditions and top of the Ladder side Congupna greeted Moama Under 14's on Saturday.Congupna came out firing and it was evident it was going to be hard work for the young Mowers to contain the opposition.
Will groves, Riley Murphy and Jake Toll defended well across the half backline,Josh Taylor and Tyson Waters battled hard in the centre of the ground, but Congupna are a very good team and led at every change to win.Moama were very aggressive, showed a lot of determination and never gave in which is a great sign for future games. The past two weeks they have played against the top teams in the competition and have been very competitive, except for a couple of small lapses in concentration.
Best Players
Brett Stevens award- Will Groves
Moama Fresh Fish-Riley Murphy
Murraybank Caravan park-Jake Toll
KFC-Tyson Waters
Hair on Meninya-Ricky Papa
Sportspower-Brenton Case

Moama netballers to compete at state finals
Echuca and District Netball Association representative teams competed in the zone finals at Bendigo last Sunday, producing some excellent results.
The 17 and under team won every game on the day, including the grand final, which means the team will travel to Melbourne on June 21 to compete in the association finals at the State Netball Hockey Centre.
The team will not only represent Echuca, but also northern zone against the other 11 top teams in the state.
The team has played in finals at every tournament, twice finishing runner-up and twice winning its section.
Coach Kerryn Evans was extremely pleased with the way every player put in a big effort on the day.
We wish all the girls the best of luck for 21st June.

Bridie & Georgie Crowe, Steph Reeves, Britenie Power, & Alex Daly.
