Tribute 09 has returned this year bigger a better I’m sure.

It will be held on the August 15th 2009 at the Moama Bowling Club. Tickets will go on sale soon so watch out; once again we have limited seats available to the Club.

Numurkah has confirmed the relocation of the game on the 30.5.2009 Round 8 to the ground at Katunga – out on the Barmah/Percola Rd.

This incluides Football and Netball, All game times remain the same.

Moama and Nathalia under 14s provided a very entertaining and close game
on Saturday with Nathalia winning by 4 points.Nathalia led for most of the day,until late in the game when Moama hit the front, only to be overtaken with very little time left on the clock.With only seconds remaining,Moama moved the ball forward, Riley Murphy gained possession and as he through the ball on his boot, the siren sounded, before it had made contact,the resulting goal was disallowed, leaving the young Mowers very disappointed,but they played some good footy throughout the day.

The under 13’s played well all day however a few silly mistakes and sloppy passes let them down. The girls went into half time down by 6 but fought hard in the last half with the final score Nathalia 22 defeating Moama 18. Best player was Emily Taverna and most determined Erin Furness. Keep working hard and show Numurkah what we are all about.

The under 11’s played out a closely fought match over 6 10 minute terms. The girls showed improvement with terrific skills displayed in all positions. They brought it home in the last 2 terms with a great win. Final score Moama 19 defeated Nathalia 15. Awards going to Jade Groves and Charlotte Furphy.

Our Under 14s played some good passages of play but unfortunately were unable to win their game on Saturday.Even though we were a bit intimidated by the opposition,there were some positive signs to come out of the game, so hopefully they will get another win on the board soon.
