Football -Round 6
Moama Football Club write up round 6. Rumbalara Vs Moama
Seniors
Score Rumbalara 6.4-40 def by Moama 17.15-117

Last week’s senior match was played in a fairly somber mood after the incidents of an earlier match. Both sides looked nervous and the first half was a shocker from a supporter’s point of view. Clangers, cough ups, you name it, it was all there. At half time it was going to be who would play the most positive football and come out victor. Fortunately it was our blokes and we really played good positive footy in the second half. The game looked to be played in good spirit and we came out of it with no injuries, so we look forward to Nathalia today. Let’s crank up from the first bounce and continue our winning streak.

Goal kickers: M.Allen 6, S.Keam 2, E. Bourke & L.Agg 2.
Best players: L. Moss-Morrisons, M.Rickards-Moama Tavern, B Mason-Sportspower, M.Sage- Riverine Massage Clinic, E Bourke & B.Jay.

Any wins a good win. In what was a scrappy game for most part? The boys got the biscuits in the end. With another 6 changes to the side we took a while to get into gear but we all got there in the end.

Netball Results Round 6
C grade had a slow start and down by 7 goals going into the last quarter, however team work and determination saw a 2 point win over Rumba. Great team work by all girls. Best player was Belinda Wright and most determined Tara Baker. Final score Moama 40 defeated Rumba 38.

C Res had a good win with strength in the defence to turn the play over consistently. Goaling was on for a fair portion for the game. Some sloppy passes throughout the game which need to be worked on, but overall a good game. Natalie Orchard was the best player while most determined went to Brooke Glennen. Final score Moama 40 Rumba 13.
