The boys started well kicking into the breeze to lead at quarter time. Although dominating play in the second quarter, they were unable to capitalize fully on the scoreboard. The second half was an even contest after Cobram hit the front twice in the last quarter. Moama were able to come back and record a well deserved victory. Ryan Hon, dominated in his first game, Joe Cosgriff gave Moama first use out of the middle, and LachieThorpe d Tom Wills dominated at ground level. Overall a very even effort.

Senior Report
Seniors
A very disappointing result in what was a very competitive game we run out of steam in the last quarter. There were some positives to come out of it, with the kids giving the supporters something to look forward to. We can look forward to the clash with our neighbours and our supporters are hoping for a positive result. Stick together it is a long haul to the top.

Working Bee
WELCOME TO THE 2009 SEASON...
Our new nights have been installed and are now working, thank you to everyone for your hard work, our new lights wouldn't have happened without you.
The committee is getting ready for yet again another great season, however there are a few things that we need to do before the first game.
We have had shire approval to relocate the play ground that is currently in front of the Sporties, this will allow our children to play in an enclosed and safe area. For this to happen we need your help.

Victorian fires & Southern 80 fund Raiser

The Moama Football Netball Club whishes to show their support for the people who have suffered in the recent Victorian fires. I don’t think anyone can imagine how this disaster will affect and will go on affecting the local community. As our volunteers experienced on Saturday at the southern 80 boat ramp, it was an extremely hot & difficult day.
The Club is urging all supporters to assist wherever possible and has decided to donate the money raised on Saturday to the Red Cross appeal; we would like to thank the following people for the day
Tim Easton
Frankie (Frank Lowrie)
Daniel Thorp
Alister & Jenny Furness
Matt Saxon
Jesse Pridham
Harro
Luke Eldridge
