A great team effort by all girls set up a 31 goal win. Moama 59 defeated Mulwala 28. Best; Renee Campbell. Coaches Award; Coby Guthrie

B Grade had a great win defeating 2nd on the ladder Mulwala by 10 goals. The win was achieved with four quarters of consistent tough netball and a whole team effort. It was very pleasing to see training put into game play. Best on Court, Alex Daly played a great game in both attack & defence. Coaches Award recipient Karyn McCalman played a smart steady game. Netball Results Round 10
A Grade. Too many unforced error cost the team dearly in the 1st half. Poor decision making & passes let Finley take control of the game early. Not enough players stood up when it counted leaving the work to a few. The 2nd half was much better but we couldn’t bridge the gap from the 1st half. Renee worked tirelessly in the ring receiving best on court. Moama 34 lost to Finley 38. Best; Renee Campbell. Coaches Award; Steph Reeves.

B Grade had a tight game all over the court; to the girls credit they all fought it out hard to the end. Defensive training drills were well used. Accurate shooting saw the score board tick steadily over eventually in Moama’s favour. Well done on a tough hard fought win. Moama 50 defeated Finley 43. Best; Simone Wood. Coaches Award; Steph Jones.

C Grade had a very happy coach after the final siren. It was pleasing to see the improvement over the last few weeks especially the passing into space. Bree Hamilton continually found the ball by running into space and finished off well. Paige ran hard all match and provided that extra option. The Coach had nothing but praise for the fantastic team effort. Moama 43 defeated Finley 36. Best; Bree Hamilton. Coaches Award; Paige Jones.

Moama White Under 12 Round 8
WOW, what a game Moama White played on Friday night against a good Echuca Bombers team. It was an evenly fought contest played at an exciting level for this age group.

Moama’s tackling was fierce, their talk was endless and the endevour to win the ball and look for a team mate was sensational.

Kell Warde and Wade Murray were both on fire doing all the hard work helping to set the pace for the game. Riley Rickard and Jeramy Pain teamed well up forward to kick the first of their four combined goals.

Nathan Vanzetta was back in the action after injury proving he‘s recovered well. Jobee Warde showed real class with a slick handball to a running team mate. Dylan Wright and Will Jasiewicz did everything right getting plenty of the ball all night.

Liam Anderson worked his way into the game and Nicholas McKenner played his best game for the year with countless touches. Tyler Thorpe & Reece Siddebottom showed their true grit attacking the ball and pushing forward on all accounts.

A great team effort which by all the boys, fantastic and well played.
