Netball Results Round 6
The A Grade game was played as a physical but sportsmanship contest. Cobram came out firing in the 1st half setting up a strong zone defence which Moama struggled to get through. Inaccurate goaling saw Moama down by 7 goals at half time. Positional changes were made & Moama took control of all areas of the court, dominating the 3rd qtr, with a 14 goal turn around setting up a 7 goal lead going into the last qtr. The girls played out the game well winning by 9 goals. Moama 39 defeated Cobram 30. Best; Mel Micalizzi. Coaches Award; Coby Guthrie.

B Grade had a fantastic team win! The girls are continuing to play tough consistent netball. Full court team defence kept turning the ball over in Moama’s favour, and was capitalised with a great display of goaling by the girls. Everyone played the game right out to the end. Moama 58 defeated Cobram 37. Best; Cat Atkinson. Coaches Award; Alex Daley.

C Grade’s first qtr again was their only let down. From then on the girls began to play some good netball especially with the positional changes of Jac Tomlinson to GK on the tall opponent. In a high scoring game, Belinda ran all day and never gave up. Let’s get it together and get some wins on the board. Moama 42 lost to Cobram 57. Best; Jac Tomlinson. Coaches Award; Belinda Wright.
