Nick Cregan

The Club would like to congratulate Under 17s player Nick Cregan on his selection to represent the Southern NSW Rebels.
The best up and coming AFL players from around the state and territory will travel to Sydney this week for the Under-15 and Under-16 Joss State Zone Trials.
The week-long event, beginning on Monday April 12, will involve 14 teams from seven regions participating in 42 games of AFL. Throughout the week will be a number of education sessions aimed at giving an insight into the life of an elite AFL player.

Netball Results Round 2

The A Grade girls started strong in the 1st qtr playing strong, direct & controlled netball, setting themselves up with an 8 goal lead at quarter time. Nathalia stepped up a gear making the next 3 qtr.’s physical and forced Moama into errors. The players kept working hard coming away with an 8 goal win. Moama 41 defeated Nathalia 33. The B Grade players worked their way into the game nicely. Strong passages of play, accurate goaling & determined defence was evident through the whole game. Well done to all the players on a great team effort extending the lead at every break to win the match by 16 goals. Moama 55 defeated Nathalia 39. Best; Coby Guthrie. C Grade bounced back from last week’s loss with an 18 goal first quarter setting the scene for the match. Laura & Kyra had a lovely defensive game supported by Katie’s continual running. Netball Results Round 1

Beautiful weather greeted players for the start of the season. A new line up took the court for the A grade team, all players were extremely nervous but settled into the game well and took control from the start. Strong and direct play set up the attack end with Steph Revees combing well with Renee Campbell giving us plenty of scoring opportunities. Impressive full court defensive pressure limited United's opportunities. All 9 players took the court and showed promising signs. Best; Steph Reeves. Coaches Award; Rene Campbell Moama 48 defeated Echuca United 17.

The B-Grade team had a good first quarter setting up a quarter time lead of 8 goals. They built on that lead each quarter. The goalers had to work hard to get their hands on the ball.
