Luke Dunham reaches 100 game milestone

Luke a 1986 build........ first started with our U17 side in the 2002. A big strapping cut of a lad he has since grown into a big strapping cut of a lad.

Seriously, Luke has never had an easy task at Moama , either playing at the key forward position or in the ruck. For a 200cm left footer that was

never going to be a simple task, but he has handled it with ease and has continued to get better and better each season. The way he is playing at the moment

200 games and then 300 seems a probability.

Well done Luke and may there be many more injury free years left in you

What a FANTASTIC performance by our boys to run over the top of Mulwala on Saturday. The disappointment of only 18 players committing to the 80 minute journey appeared to upset our boys, with Mulwala kicking the first 4 goals ,but all of a sudden our boys decided it was time we showed everyone that we can play football.Every player became involved in the game and we slowly took control. Long kicking, determination and belief in their mates payed off as goals were kicked for Moama, instead of against us, which has been the case for most of the year. Our 2nd & 3rd quarters were brilliant and we took a 24 point lead going intio the final quarter.Could it be possible?Could this be our 2nd win for year? There was a lot of nervous boys as they tried to hang on,but Mulwala didnt give up and kicked 2 goals to narrow the gap but the damage was done, our boys were estatic and celebrated accordingly, the smiles saying everything.WELL DONE

Netball Results Round 18
The sun was shining; it was a beautiful day at Mulwala. After a long trip it took the A grade girls a while to wake up. Karina “Nugget” Johns and Bree “Pink” Power were stand outs during the game. We welcomed back the super stars who made a grand final return. Well done girls and look out 2010. Best player Karina Johns and most determined Bree Power. Mulwala defeated Moama 42 to 30.

Well done B grade against top seeded Mulwala. The team showed some good passages of play however the lines continued to be confusing during the whole game. There was some good passages of play but also some silly discussions made. The fight to the final begins, good luck. Best player was awarded to Bree Hamilton and most determined to Ella Wales. Mulwala 61 defeated Moama 45.

Our C grade girls came out firing against top placed Mulwala to snatch a 6 goal quarter time lead. Mulwala demonstrated why they are clear at the top of the ladder by pegging back our advantage. Congratulations to award winners Kelli Johns and Sherry Lanyon for another solid performance in our goals. Mulwala came back to defeat Moama 54 to 36.
