C Reserve played a hard fought game against a very tough Rumba side with all players putting in 100%. In an exciting to watch match, Kelsey Ward played hard through the centre supported by Chanelle Nurse. Tekari Albert was good in defence against an accurate goaling duo. Under 17 girls played a consistent quarters to win the game comfortably. Another team effort with all the girls playing well. Mylie Kilmartin played all game in Centre and assisted in everything on the court to win BOC. Steph Orchard played a confident steady game in WA & WD earning the Coaches Award. Under 15 went in to the match expecting a tough encounter & got just that. Moama wasted many opportunities in attack however the defenders played well with the score even at half time. The third qtr saw the girls obtain the lead which they held to the final bell, winning by 7 goals. A great game by the whole team. Moama 35 defeated Rumbalara 28. Best; Lauren Minicozzi. Under 13 match spectators saw a scrappy game in which the score was even pegging up to half time. From then the mid court players started to open up the court creating better passages of play. Tilly Keenan took some nice intercepts with great support from Tyler Murphy & Amy Wright, making for some nice netball. Victoria Farrell moved into GD and ran well making great play. Under 12 pleased parents and spectators alike with their team work throughout the whole match. The girls copped well with all the positional changes. Players found themselves in unfamiliar positions however to their credit, when in goals they shot well. Keep up the concentration & team work. Well done girls on your hard fought 5 goal win.
